A Little About Me

I am a certified home stager and colour consultant for existing homes and new developments. I work with the homeowners before they decide to put their home for sale. I work with Realtors to increase property values to showcase before putting it on MLS.

 

I have been servicing clientele from a number of years on multiple projects. Home staging is a passion carried from years as it first started with helping family and friends. After working many years in corporate environments, providing clients with top notch customer service, I decided to turn my passion into a profession. I help the community with my design ideas, colour consultation and small outdoor projects. The value home staging added to my first home when sold was tremendous and way over asking price.

 

So What is Home Staging?

 

It is a property presentation or property styling. Home stagers transform a home into an appealing place to create a mass appeal as opposed to individual appeal minimizing flaws. Staging is an action plan of editing, rearranging and modifying furnishings and accessories to highlight the fine features of each room.

 

There are a lot of myths about why you should stage the property when you can sell it as is. Home staging adds the true value of your property as many buyers can’t visualize the property with existing furniture and other's belongings.

 

Why Should I Stage My Home? 

 

Staging is an investment as only 10% of buyers can visualize the potential of an unstaged property. A home becomes a product when you are putting it on the market. It must be presentable to attract buyers, thus minimizing the amount of time it is on the market and ultimately selling it fast for top dollars.

 

I will improve your property’s appeal by transforming it into an attractive product. Staging is marketing. The way we live in our homes is not the best way to market and sell your home.

 

So I will create the WOW factor for a fast sale and the highest possible return on your investment, or for Realtors, their client's investment. Staging accentuates the positives and minimizes the negatives.

 

Most buyers start making a decision about a property within the first 6 feet of entering it. Most buyers will purchase a home based on emotion, it's how it makes them feel when they step inside the front door.
